Having only made seven dot pictures, and having
done a John Lennon before, I was a little wary of creating another.
This was a commissioned piece, and differed from the first dot
John, looking black and white, whilst being made out
of coloured dots, as with both Senna and Marilyn.
Having had practice at this already, you would think this would
be an easy task. However, the contrast of bright to dark on
the two halves of the picture provided a tough challenge, and
the sheer amount of dark dots to be stuck started to get me
a little down.
Once completed, it was delivered to it's new
owner, who was more than delighted with the outcome. John's
owner will be showing the picture in galleries around the world,
including the Beatles museum in Liverpool.
